Kanwal Rekhi, one of the first Indian American venture capitalists to succeed in Silicon Valley and a founding member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), is never the one to pull his punches when it comes to India's growth. Rekhi, who has not actually been a fan of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, blames the premier's lack of leadership for the Indian economy's recent poor run. Singh has been a disappointment not only as a prime minister but also as an economist, he says.
